Michael Alpiner has been writing and publishing for twenty-six years.  His work includes travel/hospitality articles as well as fiction and poetry and has appeared in online and print journals, and anthologies.  From 2005-2010, Michael ran the poetry events at Barnes and Noble in Fresh Meadows, NY. His poetry is included in the anthology, Blood to Remember. He is a regular contributing writer for New York Lifestyles Magazine. Michael earned an MFA in Creative Writing, teaches college writing, and has served as a Writer-in-Residence for the Louis Armstrong Museum.

Gretchen Kelly has traveled to over 80 countries, both as a freelance writer and as US News Editor for Business Traveler magazine. Working for the New York Post, Executive Travel, Women’s Health, The Toronto Star, Luxury Travel Adviser, Pursuitist, AAA Car and Travel, the New York Daily News, Afar Media, Travel Mole, Travel Pulse and the Travel Channel, among others, she has written about global leisure travel trends and destinations from locales as far flung as Armenia, the Transylvanian mountains of Romania and the North Pole. She has also been the blogger-in-residence for the countries of Belgium (Flanders) and Wales and has appeared as a travel expert on Good Day New York, Bloomberg Radio and BBC Worldwide News. She writes monthly features on hotels and destinations for New York Lifestyles Magazine.
