Michael Alpiner has been writing and publishing for twenty-six years. His work includes travel/hospitality articles as well as fiction and poetry and has appeared in online and print journals, and anthologies. From 2005-2010, Michael ran the poetry events at Barnes and Noble in Fresh Meadows, NY. His poetry is included in the anthology, Blood to Remember. He is a regular contributing writer for New York Lifestyles Magazine. Michael earned an MFA in Creative Writing, teaches college writing, and has served as a Writer-in-Residence for the Louis Armstrong Museum.
